The greatest of all the traits;
The very best among all the emotions;
The superb and oftentimes the indescribable

Sometimes we need to be reminded of a magical and powerful fact. The simple truth that God’s love is all-consuming. I think we especially need to be reminded on days when we don’t feel great about our lives. We need to remember that the very fabric of beings God is enamored with. We need to be reminded that there is nothing we have to do or say to receive this love. This love that God gives to us is as automatic and us breathing. God loves because he made us. He is our Great Creator.

God’s love is the very thing upon which our lives are based. Romans 8:38–39 speaks to this fact: “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (ESV)

So when fear attempts to paralyze you, please remember God’s special promises as evidenced in his acts of love. God’s love is all-consuming.
When you have doubts, remember God’s love is all-consuming.
When you have anxiety, God’s love is all-consuming.
When depression and anger fill you, God’s love is all-consuming.
Turn to that all-consuming power to fill you up and supply all your needs.
The consuming power of God’s love exceeds our deepest understanding.

The superb and oftentimes the indescribable
